HGV Class 2 Day Driver – Darlington
Are you an HGV Class 2 Driver looking for ongoing work?
We have a long term temporary assignment starting from 1st September - you must be available to complete assessment (theory & driving) Wed 26th August @ 7am to start the following week.
The Best Connection are recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Day Drivers for our client in Darlington, a leading kitchen production and distribution company. This role offers on going days shifts - Monday to Friday.
Job Responsibilities:
- Day driving work as an HGV Class 2 Driver
- Safe and timely deliveries to customers and sites
- Loading/unloading where required (flat pack kitchens) - you can have assistance of drivers mate
- Accurate completion of paperwork
- Represent both the client and The Best Connection to a high standard
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence, CPC and Digi card
- 2 years experience as a Class 2 HGV Driver
- Physically able to lift items up to 25kg
- Professional attitude and smart appearance
Hours:
- Start times from 04:00 AM
- Monday to Friday shifts ongoing
Pay Rates:
- £14.09 per hour – Monday to Friday
- £19.50 per hour - Saturday
- £26.00 per hour - Sunday and Bank Holiday
