Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivery of multiple Global data and information management programmes
- Partner with business teams to help define the overall strategy and help deliver the objectives through data-led initiatives
- Lead the definition and delivery of data & information management solutions to satisfy business needs, while ensuring alignment with global data strategies, policies and standards
- Develop data management processes and infrastructure to efficiently source and integrate multiple internal / external data sources to increase the value of the data to the organization
- Establish the data governance council for involving regional business & technology teams
- Deliver the goals outlined in the data strategy and data governance council
- Drives development of information infrastructure, and data management processes to move the organisation to a more sophisticated, agile and robust target state data architecture
- Manages multiple teams of Information Management professionals to effectively develop data management processes to reduce complexity, improve data quality, and increase efficiency throughout the information management life-cycle
- Define and deliver reusable data capabilities / assets across company
- Collaborate with the CDO’s and data governance council’s across Prudential
- Collaborate with security and data privacy to ensure the solutions being provided to the business teams meet the requisite standards within the country
- Budget planning, Team leadership, Mentoring, talent management and recruitment
Key Requirements:
- Ability to partner with business teams with a strong understanding of data and technology
- Experience in defining data strategy and technology roadmaps aligned to business requirements
- Extensive experience in data architecture, data integration/ETL, data warehousing, and business intelligence deployed in a complex global environment
- Strong leadership skills, experience in building and managing a virtual team of multi-cultural information management professionals
- Experience in delivering global data platforms preferably in the financial services domain
- Ability to do financial planning, budgeting and reporting
- Strong design and delivery expertise in Big data technologies, open source tools and data warehouse technologies
- Experience in automation using technologies like workflow management, RPA and integration would be an advantage
- Knowledge of data-driven security, data privacy and risk management
- The ability to interact and communicate with a diverse set of stakeholders at multiple levels within the organisation
