We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Manager - Business Modelling to join a dynamic team in the Middle East region. This role is exclusively open to UAE Nationals as part of an Emiratisation initiative. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing financial models, coordinating project financing efforts, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Financial Models: Independently create and implement financial models for various projects while ensuring data quality meets industry standards.
  • Scenario Analysis: Update models periodically, run scenarios, and present actionable insights to management for informed decision-making.
  • Project Financing Coordination: Collaborate with technical advisors and project teams to manage due diligence processes and refine financing models.
  • Cost Tracking & Business Case Development: Analyse actual project costs, assist in establishing business cases, and provide recommendations for profitable growth.
  • Strategic Presentations & Reporting: Prepare presentations, proposals, and reports for internal and external audiences while synthesising complex information into clear deliverables.
  • Lender Relations: Provide timely financial information required by lenders, including covenant computations as needed.
  • Support Strategic Initiatives: Offer proactive support on special projects by maintaining relevant analyses and aligning long-term financial requirements with organisational goals.
  • Relationship Management: Build effective relationships with customers, infrastructure co-users, commercial institutions, consultants, and internal teams while upholding high ethical standards.
  • Policy Development: Create user guides and documentation to ensure accessibility of financial models for non-specialists.

Candidate Requirements:

To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent; postgraduate qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CFA) preferred.
  • Experience: 5–8 years of experience in financial modelling and financing activities within reputable organisations; prior experience in the Middle East region is essential.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of financial modelling principles and accountancy practices; proficiency in workflow/process mapping and industry best practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex numerical data, draw conclusions, and present findings effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Software Proficiency: Skilled in using various financial modelling software packages.
