Treasury Manager (51001263/001) Nigeria
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and provide reporting on daily cash position, cash flow forecasting, ensuring optimal liquidity for operational needs.
- Overseeing accounts receivable & accounts payable process
- Assess and mitigate financial risks related to market fluctuations, interest rates, and currency exchange.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the financial interests of the company.
- Develop and execute investment strategies to maximise returns while maintaining an appropriate level of risk.
- Evaluate financing options and maintain relationships with lenders
- Participate in project reviews and provide financial insights to support critical decision-making. Analyse project profitability, assess funding needs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Partner closely with Engineering leadership, project managers, and other finance team members to provide financial guidance and support operational activities.
Candidates Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in treasury in an engineering or manufacturing company preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar treasury role within the Engineering and/or oil and gas industry.
- Proficient in financial modelling and treasury management systems.
- Minimum ICAN
- Any other professional qualification e.g. ACCA, CIMA would be welcome
