Manpower is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established client in Brighouse for a Logistical Administration Assistant / FLT Operator. Working Hours


Monday to Friday

  • 7:00am - 4:00pm
  • 1-hour unpaid lunch break


Weekend Requirement (Every Other Weekend)

  • Saturday: 8:00am - 1:00pm or when job done 
  • Sunday: 8:00am - 12:00pm or when job done 

Pay & Benefits

  • £14.10 per hour
  • Saturday and Sunday paid at a premium rate ( time & half and double)

The Role


As a Logistical Administration Assistant, you will support the day-to-day warehouse and logistics functions while receiving training on key business systems and processes. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the operation and provide support across both operational and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
  • Supporting warehouse and logistics operations
  • Using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS)
  • Processing paperwork and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with warehouse staff, transport providers, customers, and global business partners
  • Managing emails, spreadsheets, and administrative tasks
  • Assisting with Health & Safety procedures and compliance
  • Supporting warehouse activities during busy periods
  • Loading and unloading vehicles when required
  • Providing leadership and support to a small team in the manager's absence

Requirements

Essential

  • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
  • Previous experience within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work confidently with computer systems and administration tasks
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to take responsibility and work independently
  • Flexible approach to supporting both office and warehouse functions
  • Ability to work the required weekend rota

Desirable

  • Experience using SAP Warehouse Management Systems
  • Experience with Transport Management Systems
  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience
  • Clamp Truck experience
