Recycling Operative/Telehandler Operator

Location: Beeston, Leeds (LS11)
Shift: Afternoon Shift
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 12:00am (midnight)
Pay Rate: £15.10 per hour
We are currently looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join recycling and waste operation team in Beeston, Leeds. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual who can work effectively within a busy site environment.

The Role

• Operating a Telehandler to support waste and recycling site operations
• Loading, moving, and transporting materials safely around the site
• Assisting with general site duties when required
• Working closely with the operations team to ensure site efficiency
• Following all health and safety procedures and site regulations

Requirements

• Valid Telehandler qualification/licence (in-house or external certificates accepted)
• Previous experience operating a Telehandler
• Experience working within waste management, recycling, or similar industrial environments is highly desirable
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• 
  Full UK driving licence (Category B) – essential
