HGV Class 1 ADR Shunter Driver (Nights)

Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour

Our client is currently seeking an HGV Class 1 ADR Shunter Driver to join their busy operation on a night shift pattern. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and reliable driver looking for consistent work with a leading logistics operation.

The Role
As an HGV Class 1 ADR Shunter Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Shunting trailers safely around the yard and between designated locations.
• Conducting vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
• Ensuring trailers are parked and positioned correctly for loading and unloading operations.
• Maintaining compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations.
• Working closely with transport and warehouse teams to support the smooth running of the site.
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• A valid ADR Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous shunting experience is preferred.
• A strong understanding of transport safety and compliance requirements.
