Customer Service Advisor in this role provide front-line support to patients and healthcare professionals, helping to manage the ordering and home delivery of medical supplies for people with long-term health needs. You’ll handle calls and emails, set up and update customer/patient records, process orders and queries, coordinate deliveries, and resolve issues sensitively while working accurately and in line with confidentiality and healthcare compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Advisor:

• Handle high-volume inbound calls for Line 1 clients in a fast-paced environment
• Place and process orders accurately over the phone
• Respond to customer queries, providing clear updates and first-time resolution where possible
• Complete admin tasks, including processing paper prescriptions (although the role will be predominantly telephone-based)
• Escalate issues appropriately and follow agreed work instructions/procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver a professional customer experience (full training provided)

Requirements of a Customer Service Advisor:

• Are confident working on the phone for extended periods
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Are comfortable speaking with clients and supporting them with a variety of enquiries
• Possess strong computer literacy
• Can effectively multitask across multiple systems simultaneously
• Have an excellent standard of spoken and written English
• Can learn new processes quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
