General Support Operator

Position Summary: 

Reports to: Adecco Coordinator  

Working Hours:  12 hour shifts, continental patter

Main Accountability: To ensure that products are manufactured and packaged to the standards laid out by Pepsico (Walkers Crisps). 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Hand packing products in primary packing from tables 
• Manually stacking pallets (equipment provided) 
• Wrapping pallets – use of manual stretch wrapper 
• Moving waste bins & use of waste bin management system 
• Data input into system 
• General wall / floor cleaning and tidying of all manufacturing areas.  
• Basic equipment cleaning supporting both product and flavour changes 
• Collection of product samples for testing, completing simple testing 

The above lists are not exhaustive and you will be required to complete other GSO duties from time to time. 

What we are looking for:  

• Ability to work as part of a team and willingness to learn in an autonomous role 
• Basic numerical, reading and computer skills 
• Proactive and can take initiative to escalate issues  
• Accuracy, timeliness and attention to detail 
• Excellent adherence to all site standards
