Warehouse Operative

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in the Selby area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company in a busy and varied warehouse role, working as part of a friendly and supportive team.

Pay & Hours

• £12.71 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am - 5:00pm
• This is initially a temporary position
• Immediate start

Duties will include:

• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Receiving and booking in goods
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Moving stock safely throughout the warehouse
• Preparing products ready for production
• Carrying out stock checks and inventory control
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
• Following all health and safety procedures

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous warehouse experience
• Be reliable, hardworking and flexible
• Have a good eye for detail
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Have their own transport due to the rural location and limited public transport links
