We are recruiting General Operatives to work in a busy vegetable production environment in Thorganby.

·        Pay: £13.45ph on days, £14.20ph on nights

·        Location: Thorganby, YO19 6DJ

·        Transport: Own transport is essential due to the location

·        Duration: Ongoing, temp to perm

Key Responsibilities

·        Working on a fast-paced vegetable production line

·        Sorting, grading, preparing and packing vegetables

·        Checking products meet quality standards

·        Operating production equipment safely, following training

·        Keeping the work area clean and tidy

·        Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures

·        Completing other production duties as required

Requirements

·        Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

·        Comfortable working in a busy production environment

·        Able to carry out repetitive tasks

·        Flexible and available to work the rotating shift pattern, including nights during the busy pea season

·        Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality

·        Own transport is essential due to the location and shift times

·        Previous production or food manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential

Shift Pattern

·        Monday to Friday

·        Rotating shifts: 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm

·        During the busy pea season, you will also be required to work night shifts from 10pm–6am
