Our client supports people with physical and intellectual disabilities, as well as autism, through Residential and Day Services across multiple locations, helping residents and day attendees to live ordinary, fulfilling lives.
We are currently recruiting for:
Job Title: Social Care Worker
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Salary: €39,088 – €56,349 per annum

What you will need:

• Hold a minimum of a Level 7 qualification on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care
• CORU registration or proof that the application is in progress
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities
• Understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services
• Ability to follow, evaluate, and contribute to the development of support plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
• Full driver’s licence and access to own car is essential
