PART 2: Role Purpose |
We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications FTTH Designer for an office-based role in designing fibre-optic networks across Ireland. The role is based in Dublin and will be utilising a number of GIS based programmes to deliver construction ready deliverables for our client |
PART 3: Principle Responsibilities |

1 |
Generate and update fibre designs on GIS based programmes |
2 |
Create and revise construction ready documentation, including bill of materials, splice sheets, design maps and other supporting documentation output from the design |

Determine efficient fibre routing of cables, while considering design rules, local authority requirements and construction limitations |
4 |
Production of High Level Design (HLD) ensuring routing efficiencies |
5 |
Production of Low Level Design (LLD) ensuring data integrity and end-to-end fibre connections |
6 |
Adhere to specific design rules and quality standards related to the project |
7 |
Propose and implement spatial and data driven models within GIS programmes |
8 |
Understand the end to end operation from data receipt through to delivery to the client |
