Mechanical Fitter

Bristol

£45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Overtime + 33 days holiday + Benefits

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Techinian to join a well known company in Bristol. You will get the opportunity to work on a variety of equipment, for a company that is extremely well established and does incredibly important work. This will suit someone who has some experience/is happy with working at heights and would like to develop their career with a prestigious firm.

The job:

• Complete planned, corrective, and reactive maintenance work on Bulk Handling Systems and Crane equipment.
• Liaise with operations to prioritise rectify unserviceable machinery using fault finding diagnostics. 
• Ensure completion of documentation including daily logs and maintenance work orders.
• Carry out duties with due care and attention, adhering to the companies Health & Safety Policy and HSE regulations.
• Upholding the highest standards and practices in mechanical work.

What we are looking for:

• NVQ level 3 in mechanical engineering or equilivant - essential.
• Proven experience with conveyors, large gearboxes and motors.
• Experience working at heights - desirable.
• Experience in heavy environments such as steel and quarry - take people on from Tata steel a lot.
• Capable of using CMMS using tablets.
