Great opportunity here to join an industry leading company in a senior position, you will be managing a team of Design Engineers and having oversight over the entire NPD process. The company design and manufacture a range of equipment for various sectors.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Lead the Design Engineering team with six direct reports, providing technical and strategic oversight.
- Manage the full New Product Development (NPD) pipeline from concept to launch.
- Conduct performance reviews and support the development of engineering staff.
- Set team priorities and align departmental goals with business objectives.
- Ensure all designs meet international standards and are validated via FEA, analysis software, or hand calculations.
- Approve or delegate design reviews, ensuring engineering accuracy and quality.
- Communicate technical updates to internal and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Background in the lifting industry – Preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing design engineering teams – Required
- Bachelor’s degree (BEng) in Mechanical or Structural Engineering – Mandatory (for insurance compliance)
- Proven ability to manage workloads and allocate resources effectively
