Are you an experienced Senior Buyer with a background in indirect procurement looking to join a growing global engineering organisation?

We are working with a leading international engineering company in Gloucestershire that is seeking a commercially focused Senior Buyer to take ownership of indirect purchasing activities across multiple sites. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business where procurement plays a key role in driving operational success and cost efficiencies.

  

The role:

  • Manage procurement activities across UK and European sites.
  • Source suppliers and negotiate contracts.
  • Build and maintain key supplier relationships.
  • Monitor supplier performance, quality, and compliance.
  • Deliver cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure purchasing activities meet company and legal standards.
  • Support sourcing strategies with cross-functional teams.
  • Resolve supplier and procurement-related issues.

 

What we are looking for:

  •  Procurement and supplier negotiation experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial and analytical mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Open to international travel - one a quarter.

 

The Package:
