Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver GCSE English resit lessons to 16–18-year-old learners.

  • Adapt teaching to suit different abilities and learning needs.

  • Assess progress and support learners to achieve their qualifications.

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

  • Monitor attendance, progress and achievement.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience teaching GCSE English resit within an FE college.

  • Experience working with 16–18-year-old learners.

  • Strong GCSE English Language subject knowledge.

  • Experience supporting learners with varied abilities and learning needs.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
