Our client based in Mansfield is looking for a CAD Technician / Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Description:
- Assist in CAD Design: Work closely with the design team to create detailed and accurate CAD models of GRP products, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers, to understand design requirements and provide input throughout the design process.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of design changes, revisions, and project progress.
- Assist in creating and updating technical drawings and design documentation.
- Learn and Apply Software Skills: Develop proficiency in CAD software — AutoCAD and leverage these skills to contribute effectively to design projects.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in reviewing and validating CAD Drawings / models to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Participate in design reviews and make recommendations for improvements.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in CAD design. Actively seek opportunities for professional development.
Ideal Candidates :
- Technical autocad background
- Need to be able to work under pressure
- Need to be able to adapt to change
- 2 D Autocad
- Civils /manufacturing background
- Or steel industry
- Concrete back ground FRC /GRC/ GRP they are GRP
- 3 D AutoCAD advantageous
- Systems - Solid works, Revit. Screwcad, Tekla, Auto desk, AutoCAD
