Joiner - Social Housing

Location: Gateshead

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner to work on social housing bathroom refurbishment projects. This role will involve carrying out high-quality joinery work within occupied properties, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Duties Include:

• Constructing and installing bath frames and bath panels.
• Laying and repairing plywood flooring.
• General joinery works associated with bathroom refurbishment programmes.
• Working within tenanted social housing properties.
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.

Essential Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent experience).
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
• Manual Handling Certificate.
• Working at Heights Certificate.
• Face Fit Certificate.
• Own tools and PPE.

Experience:

• Proven experience working as a Joiner.
• Experience with bath frame construction, bath panel installation, and plywood flooring.
• Previous social housing experience is highly desirable and will be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
