Housing Officer/Administrator

£25-26 per hour (Umbrella)

Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a temp basis, to join an organisation based in Birmingham.

Duties of the Housing Officer role will include, but are not limited to:

· Managing a diverse portfolio of tenancies, providing effective estate and tenancy management

· Managing low-level ASB cases, including interventions, enforcement action and preparation of court packs

· Supporting new tenants through the onboarding process and proactively working to sustain tenancies

· Carrying out estate, community and tenancy inspections, addressing issues such as fly-tipping and abandoned vehicles

· Conducting tenancy audits and identifying risks including tenancy fraud and breaches

· Supporting customers affected by welfare reform through advice, digital support and appropriate signposting

· Conducting wellbeing visits and identifying vulnerabilities, safeguarding concerns and support needs

· Working with internal teams, residents and external partners to resolve tenancy and estate issues

· Supporting resident engagement, community initiatives and estate improvement projects

· Ensuring accurate and compliant records are maintained and housing legislation and policies are followed

· Identifying and implementing value-for-money and service improvement opportunities

The successful candidate for the Housing Officer will have:

· Experience working as a Housing Officer, ideally within a Housing Association or similar environment

· Full UK Driving Licence
