Damp Proofer

Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working with a Manchester based Housing Association, to recruit to a Damp Proofer. The main purpose of the role will be working on kitchen refurbishments, completing damp proofing, basic joinery and basic plumbing

Responsibilities of the Damp Proofer include:

• Working on tenanted social housing properties completingdamp proofing
• Completing basic plumbing and basic joinery on kitchens when required
• Developing effective working relationships with colleagues, partners and key stakeholders to support the delivery of a customer focused service
• Booking in any follow-on work identified during the repair visit with the customer at the time of the repair on a PDA
• Measuring and inspecting repairs, and ordering appropriate materials
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures

Requirements of the Damp Proofer includes:

• UK Driving License
• Basic skills within joinery and plumbing
