We are currently working on behalf of a charitable organisation that supports those with complex needs, to recruit for a full time Housing Support Worker on a temporary to permanent basis
Responsibilities of the Housing Support Worker includes:
- Working across Hyndburn, supporting those with complex needs including those with; mental health, offending and substance misuse issues
- Supporting tenants to become tenancy ready
- Encouraging independent living
- Assisting clients to maximise their income through claiming of correct benefits
- Signposting tenants to access other services
- Carrying out health and safety checks
- Ensuring voids are ready for new tenants
- Conducting risk and needs assessments
Requirements of the Housing Support Worker:
- Enhanced DBS
- Driver and access to a vehicle
