We are currently working on behalf of a public sector client to recruit to a Roofers Mate on a permanent basis, working across Greater Manchester
Responsibilities of the Roofers Mate includes:
- Carrying out all aspects of labouring and semi-skilled activities surrounding roofing, and other trades when required
- Assisting with aspects of roofing work including general repairs, maintenance and refurbishment
- Working on large scale pitched roofs, flat roofs and chimney stack demolitions
- Assisting with gutter and soffit works when required
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety
- Booking in follow up works
- Ordering appropriate materials
- Utilising a PDA
Requirements of the Roofers Mate includes:
- CSCS Card
- Previous experience as a roofers mate (desirable)
- Knowledge and experience of working at heights (essential)
