Liquidity Risk Analyst (Liquidity Risk Analy) City of London, England
Overview
Group Consolidation and Reporting (GCR) is responsible for consolidating information from the regions and businesses to the group level for both group external and internal reporting.
Group consolidation also is a key driver for development and continuous re-engineering of risk databases and engines and is often responsible for the design, specification and implementation of data management flows that are used in the risk calculation process.
As a Liquidity Risk Analyst you will be supporting the production process including the analysis, reconciliation and testing of data along with the production of monthly reports to meet the submission deadline for Group and local entity Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR).
Key Responsibilities
- Testing for the technical implementation
- Identifying relevant Balance Sheet benchmark and data gaps
- Acquiring missing or incomplete data and data sources from data providers
- Preparing potential and known adjustments
- Defining assumptions
- Developing high level quality checks for data and reporting
- Reconciliation to appropriate Balance Sheet
You will have:
- Proven experience in the investment banking sector with good product knowledge
- Data analysis skills
- An excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A working knowledge of liquidity reporting within a banking environment or treasury function
- Proven experience of report production, analysis and the provision of business commentary
You will be:
- Customer focused with previous experience of working with demanding customers in a flexible manner
- Experienced in delivering results within a fast moving, dynamic environment
- Able to adapt to changing customer, sponsor and stakeholder requirements
- Qualified to Degree level or the equivalent experience
