HR Business Partner
Location: Leerdam, Netherlands

- Provides tactical guidance and expertise on all personnel and organizational matters within her area of business departments.
- Participates and leads (multi-disciplinary) business projects, in which representation of HR (or a specific field of HR expertise) is required.
- Presents and shares information with his/her business stakeholders on the full scope of HR activities.
- Acts as coach on specific and complex employee cases, under which non-performance guidance, career- & development guidance and guidance on health and absence issues.
- Supports organizational design and business innovations, towards management, employees and the workers’ council, including the maintenance of job descriptions within his/her area.
- Guide recurrent people management processes, under which: the performance- en people reviews and commitment surveys.
- Supports various employee communication activities as well as deployment of corporate HR initiatives.
HR team activities
- Manages (part of) the HR roadmap and leads HR (improvement) projects.
- Guides the HR team in all occurring changes with regards to HR services and processes.
- Sets up and optimizes relevant HR policies, procedures and instructions.
- Delegates tasks towards HR operational support, challenges project deliverables and relevant deadlines, steers recurrent team meetings.
- Presents and explains (new) policies, initiatives, labor law implications and changes that require knowledge sharing or best-practices.
- Supports establishment of the HR strategy.
HR strategy and plan
- Support the HR Director in setting up and implementing the HR Strategic Plan
- Support HR budget process in all its aspects and phases.
- Make sure that the local policies are well adapted to the legal and economic local context.
- Lean: improve processes, mindset, skills and policies.
- Promote and propose digital solutions to increase efficiencies. Make HR digital tools user friendly.
Candidate's Profile:
- Bachelor or master’s degree
- 3 to 5 years of experience in HR BP
- Strong project management skills
- In depth knowledge of various HR subjects, f.e. recruitment, development, compensation & benefits or performance.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficient level of Business English and the Dutch language.
- Ability to create, write, and formalize company policies, processes and propositions.
- Sound knowledge of Labor Law and actual business developments within his/her field of expertise.
- Good knowledge of Business Support tooling, such as MS Office and local office tooling.
- Good knowledge of the corporate HR strategy and core values.
