The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative with an FLT Reach Truck licence to join a busy warehouse in Dodworth, Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking for a hands-on warehouse role involving stock control, order preparation, manual handling and chemical mixing duties, with approximately 10% of the role requiring FLT Reach Truck work.
About the Role
This position is primarily warehouse-based and involves working with dry and raw chemicals, supporting the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse operation. The successful candidate will be comfortable with manual handling duties and maintaining high standards of health and safety. Only about 10% of this role will be Reach Truck work
Your Duties Will Include:
- Weighing and mixing dry and raw chemicals
- Heavy lifting and manual handling
- General warehouse duties
- Stock movement and order preparation
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Occasional FLT Reach Truck work when required
What We're Looking For:
- Valid FLT Reach Truck licence
- Previous warehouse experience
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
