£12.71 per hour, paid weekly

Monday to Friday Shifts, 04:00-06:00 Start

The Best Connection are currently hiring for driver's mates for our client based in Gloucester. Your role day to day would be assisting with the delivery of kegs, cases and palletised goods.

You will be safely loading/unloading using equipment (sack trucks, tail lifts etc). You will also be checking stock and reporting damages/shortages, while supporting drivers with routes, paperwork and customer service. Following all health and safety procedures is also essential.

What we’re looking for:

• A full UK driving licence (Ideally)
• Team player with a strong work ethic
• Good communication & customer service skills
• Physically able for manual handling tasks such as unloading and loading upto 30KG

Progression Opportunity: £30,000 salary upon going permanent

Opportunity to progress into HGV Class 1 training Successful candidates with a full UK driving licence may be offered HGV Class 1 training through an internal driver programme (subject to performance & business needs).
