HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver

Location: Coleshill, Birmingham

Job Type: Ongoing Contract

Start Date - Immediate starts

Shift Pattern

• Nights: Monday to Sunday
• Shifts: 5 Shifts, any day
• Start Times: 02:15am onwards
• Shift Length: 10-12 hours

Position Overview

We are looking for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our client’s well-known retail operation in Birmingham.

• 2-5 deliveries per shift
• Cage work
• Delivery to stores
• Flexible work options: full-time, part-time, or weekends only
• 1 years experience (For insurance purposes)

Key Responsibilities

• Safely complete local or distance deliveries.
• Assist with loading/unloading as required.
• Deliver goods with excellent customer service.
• Adhere to health & safety standards and driving regulations.

Pay Rates – C+E Licence Required

Monday to Friday - Days - 08:00 to 18:00 - £17.50 per hour

Monday to Friday - Nights - 18:00 to 08:00 - £18.50 per hour

Daily Overtime (After 9 hours) - £24.25 per hour

Weekends and Bank Holidays - £24.25 per hour

Requirements

• Valid C+E (Class 1) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• 1 years experience (For insurance purposes)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physically capable of assisting with unloading if required
• Reliable and punctual
