Our client is a global leader in concrete counterweight manufacturing and solutions, seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Polish Speaking Accountant to join their growing team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of financial processes while supporting operational excellence across the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, and proficiency in both Polish and professional English.

What you'll do:

As a Polish Speaking Accountant, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the financial integrity of the organisation. You will be responsible for managing the general ledger, performing regular account reconciliations, overseeing invoice processing, handling intercompany transactions, preparing financial statements, ensuring tax compliance, coordinating audits, and leveraging ERP tools for efficient financial management. Your expertise in cost accounting will be crucial in integrating financial processes with manufacturing workflows.

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Perform weekly, monthly, and annual reconciliations of accounts to ensure financial integrity.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Oversee the full cycle of invoice processing.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable collections.
• Handle intercompany postings and recharges.
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements.
• Manage and ensure accurate filing of JPK (VAT) returns and corporate tax submissions.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external auditors.
• Leverage QuickBooks and Symphonica ERP for accounting operations.

What you bring:

The ideal Polish Speaking Accountant will bring a wealth of experience from the manufacturing industry. With at least 3 years of experience under your belt, you'll have a strong background in auditing, financial reporting, treasury management, cost accounting, and familiarity with local accounting standards and tax regulations. Your technical prowess will shine through your proficiency with QuickBooks (Cloud-based), Symphonica ERP or similar financial systems. Your advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools will aid you in delivering accurate reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA are highly desirable.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting with a focus on the manufacturing industry.
• Strong background in auditing, financial reporting, and treasury management.
• Proven experience with QuickBooks (Cloud-based), Symphonica ERP or similar financial systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in cost accounting and manufacturing-related financial management.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
