Class 2 HGV Driver – Basingstoke.

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: £44,189.05

We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Drivers to support a well-established logistics operation in the Basingstoke area. This role offers competitive pay and the opportunity to move into a permanent position.

Shift Patterns for the HGV 2 Driver:

• 5 on 3 off rota pattern / 4 on 2 off rota pattern
• Start times between 05:00–06:00 AM

What You'll Be Doing As a HGV 2 Driver:

• Operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to deliver goods across the UK
• Complete 25–30 residential deliveries per shift, including multi-drop work
• Deliver goods safely and professionally to customers’ homes
• Load and unload vehicles safely
• Carry out pre- and post-journey vehicle checks
• Follow scheduled routes and communicate with dispatch
• Provide excellent face-to-face customer service
• Adhere to all safety regulations and legal driving requirements

What You'll Need As a HGV 2 Driver:

• A valid UK Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
• Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• A strong work ethic and customer-focused attitude
• Recent driving experience is desirable
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply
