HGV Class 2 Night Driver – Ongoing Work | Temp to Perm!

Pay: £169.07 per shift + up to £40 night shift allowance + weekly bonus

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Night Drivers on behalf of our client based in Basingstoke.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 driver looking for consistent night work, regular routes and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The Role:

• Sunday to Thursday night shifts
• Start times between 10:00pm and midnight
• Approximately 10-hour shifts
• Average 50 hours per week
• Palletised deliveries
• Regular, set routes with minimal changes
• Some routes may involve deliveries into London, excluding Central London
• Up to approximately 20 deliveries per shift
• Immediate starts available
• 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity

Pay & Benefits:

• £169.07 per shift
• Up to £40 per week night shift allowance
• Weekly bonus scheme
• Weekly pay for the first 12 weeks
• Consistent night work
• Regular routes
• Long-term permanent opportunity

Based on 5 shifts per week, the basic shift pay is approximately £845 per week, before the night allowance and any applicable bonus.

Requirements:

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous HGV Class 2 experience preferred but not essential
• Good knowledge of UK roads
• Reliable and punctual
• Flexible approach to work
• Professional attitude and good customer service
