HGV Class 1 Day Driver / Shunter – Bolton

We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join a well-established logistics company, working with a trusted national client based in Bolton.

This role is a mix of day driving and shunter work, with flexibility to support store deliveries when required.

The Role

• Day shifts on a 4 on / 4 off rota
• A mix of duties including driving and shunter work
• Some handball involved, assisting with unloading at delivery points
• Working patterns may include:
  • Typically 2 days driving / 2 days shunting
  • Alternatively, 4-on driving or 4-on shunting, depending on business needs
• Ongoing, steady work with a leading logistics provider

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Previous shunter experience preferred
• Experience with store deliveries and manual handling desirable
• A professional, can-do attitude with a strong focus on safety and customer service
