About the Corporate Legal Manager Role:
In a legal function seen as a real partner to the business, this is a great chance to gain exposure to practical challenges requiring both legal knowledge and commercial acumen. You will be reporting to the VP of Legal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide strategic guidance on handling legal matters of the company
• Manage all the company’s legal activities, both administration, and operations (litigation and non-litigation)
• Provide day-to-day legal support for cross-functional departments, including support associated with business teams, product developments, operational matters, and international expansion of the products
• Advise on general business law issues and managing the legal issues of all areas of the company, including but not limited to corporate matters, procurement, IPs, IT security, and others

To succeed in this Corporate Legal Manager role, you must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of how to grow the business.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from reputable university with major in Business Law
• Minimum of four years' working experience as a senior associate in a law firm with specialisation in corporate and commercial matters, preferably with its major clients are financial institutions or fintech services companies
• Diligence and attention to detail
• Creative problem-solving ability
• Good written and verbal communication in English
• Confidence and great negotiating skills
• Experience drafting and amending contracts
• Experience reviewing and overseeing business in legal contract aspects
• Excellent interpersonal facing skills
• Experience in legal compliance or legal litigation is a plus
• PERADI license and/or masters degree is a plus
