  • Contribute to curriculum planning, course development, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Promote equality, diversity, safeguarding, and health & safety throughout all teaching activities.
  • Build positive relationships with employers and industry partners to enhance learner opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Relevant industrial experience within an engineering environment.
  • Strong practical and theoretical engineering knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding learner outcomes.
  • A passion for developing the future engineering workforce.

Desirable:

  • Experience teaching within a Further Education college, apprenticeship provision, or workplace training environment.
  • Assessor and/or Internal Quality Assurance qualifications.
  • Experience delivering BTEC, City & Guilds, EAL, T Level, or apprenticeship engineering programmes.

Applications are welcomed from experienced engineers who are looking to move into teaching. Full teacher training and support may be available for candidates who do not yet hold a teaching qualification.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary with regular incremental progression.
  • Teachers' Pension Scheme or Local Government Pension Scheme (where applicable).
