What you’ll be doing:
• Prepare papers, files and documentation for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings
• Produce standard letters, correspondence, minutes, notes, reports and submissions in line with guidelines
• Create and update records on in-house systems and input data accurately
• Support day-to-day administration including photocopying, filing, post opening and dispatch
• Book and organise meeting rooms, agendas, joining instructions and handouts
• Clerking civil and family courts/tribunals/hearings by ensuring paperwork is up to date and materials are ready
• Assist court users by handling enquiries (face to face, written and telephone) and supporting listing/rota processes
• Schedule, serve documents and execute a range of warrants (including card payment use where required)
• Process casework using standard documentation and information, ensuring accuracy when interpreting details on a court file
• Check and verify documents, records, accounts and returns against procedures and quality standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement, problem-solving and small projects using lean principles
• Support team information board (TIB) meetings so they’re relevant, timely and productive
