Working Days / Hours: 37 hours 9-5

Working Pattern: full time office based

Pay Rate: £13.25ph

Our Client is hiring an AO administrator officer to provide first-point administrative and operational support-helping users, judicial office holders and stakeholders stay on track, even when cases are complex or time-sensitive.
What you'll be doing:
• Be a first point of contact for users through face-to-face support, telephone, webchat and written communications
• Prepare for, facilitate and complete administrative tasks for all types of hearings
• Use service scripts/knowledge to signpost people to the right support and provide clear, consistent information
• Manage enquiries and resolve routine issues to prevent delays to cases and services (escalating where appropriate)
• Handle case files with accurate data entry and secure information management, following retention and data loss protocols
• Support jury service tasks including selection, deferral, reassignment and attendance tracking (and related expenses/fees)
• Help with listing and scheduling, responding to urgent matters and following listing policies
• Contribute to practical building and safety checks (including logging issues) under guidance
• Support enforcement processes, including financial assessments and producing basic statistical/financial reports
• Maintain accurate time sheets on the day of attendance
What you'll bring:
• The ability to work flexibly as part of a team and handle delegated tasks to meet business priorities
• Digital confidence-proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable working with databases
• Strong communication skills to explain complex processes clearly, including in difficult or distressing situations
• Customer service mindset, resilience and professionalism, including when users have additional or complex needs
• Proactive problem-solving-prioritising your workload and taking prompt action within guidelines
• The ability to follow policies and protocols, making routine decisions and escalating complex matters when needed
