Gibbs Hybrid are supporting a world leading client in their search for an Automation Tester for a contract within the banking sector (financial services). Due to the nature of the project, we will only be considering candidates with a background in Financial Services contracts.

Up to £500 day rate – Initial 6-month contract with likely extension
Hybrid working – 1-2 days a week in the Swindon office
To be considered for the contract, you must have experience with the following technologies:
Strong Knowledge of API testing. Good on programming concepts with expertise on Java programming language.
Experience in writing test automation scripts and a good understanding of standard automation frameworks. Automating complex API testing scenarios using Rest Assured, BDD, Java
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills in automation skills.
Knowledge on middleware software's Kafka, MongoDB.
Knowledge of CI CD tools like Jenkins and related build deployment processes.
Knowledge of in source control, code commit management using GitHub and Git.
Proficient in using various tools, such as Maven, TestNG.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes with an Understanding the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) Models - AGILE, Sprint
