Gibbs Hybrid are recruiting for a Senior User Researcher to work on a prestigious Public Sector contract.
Due to the clients’ requests, we will only consider applicants with a background of Public Sector contracts.
Job Description
A senior user researcher is an experienced practitioner who can plan and lead user research activities on larger teams and more complex services. They build user centred practices in new teams and align user research activities with wider plans to inform service proposition. They may supervise and develop other user researchers to assure and improve research practice.
Must have experience.
Experience with the GDS, MyGov, Scot or NHSD Service Delivery models
User research experienced with: Assess, Solution, Evaluate methods.
Experience/background in Public Sector contracts
Responsibilities
Helping to set up the new IT support product and service.
Conducting user research for internal employee experience
Setting the direction of user research activities with an agile, multidisciplinary team or wider programme of work
Ensuring research activities are inclusive, so your findings are reflective of the whole population.
Undertaking quantitative research activities such as: questionnaire design and analysis of quantitative data
Undertaking qualitative research activities such as: interview design, moderation, usability testing, facilitating workshops, contextual enquiry, co-design, ethnographic research.
Regularly presenting research findings to the wider organisation, externally and to senior stakeholders.
- Experience in assessing several of: Ethnographic Research, Focus Groups, Competitive Evaluation, Diary Studies, Cognitive Modelling, Contextual Inquiries, Remote User Surveys, Web Analytics
- Solution several of: Personas, Journey Mapping, Card Sorting, Empathy Mapping, Theatre Workshops, Visioning Workshops, Story Mapping, Hills or Feature Identification
- Evaluate several of: Heuristics Reviews, Usability Testing: Remote, Comparative/Competitive Assessments
