Application Developer (.NET) Swindon, England

Gibbs Hybrid are representing a major IT services contractor in their search for a Lead Application Developer (.NET), for a contract with a major banking organisation. You will not be considered for the role if you do not have experience working in a financial services/banking environment.
Pay rate: £600-£700 (dependant on whether or not you’re applying for the App Developer or Lead role)
Ideally hybrid: Travel to Swindon likely 1-2 days a week
Contract length: 6-12 months minimum
Government Client: It is imperative that you have worked in large banking contracts
Application Developer - Microsoft .NET
Required skills: "An experienced lead in the .NET frameworks (Old frameworks are a preference).
This individual will be working side by side our clients and lead a .NET Design, Build and Test team to successful outcomes. Must be hands on when needed, but also abstract themselves, as the client will require support and guidance in all aspects of their legacy and strategic platforms (Columbus, Quantum Lite etc).
This will also require the Senior Engineer to document and justify solutions, review and QA designs, manage technical risk and issues, manage senior technical stakeholders and provide leadership to a mixed client delivery team located in the UK and Offshore.
Nice to have skills:
• .NET including older frameworks
• Solid baking/financial services experience
• 5 years’ experience
• Team Leadership experience
• Willingness for daily client interaction
