Senior PMO (Senior PMO) Knutsford, England

Salary: GBP390 - GBP400 per day
Gibbs Hybrid require a Senior PMO to work for a world leading IT Services Consultancy on a financial services/banking contract. Due to the nature of the contract, the client has requested that we only submit candidates that have a wealth of experience in financial services/banking contracts.



***Please note that you will be required to work inside IR35 regulations***

Hybrid working model: 1-2 days a week in Knutsford, Cheshire.

Day rate: Up to £400 per day (Inside IR35)

Contract Length: Initial 6-month contract, with further extensions highly likely


The Senior PMO / Migration Analyst is responsible for ensuring that Migration Move Set are delivered in line with the event schedule in accordance with the agreed T-Minus schedule/Sprint Calendar. This is a key role on the programme and requires effective coordination of the event schedule to ensure that all migration readiness activities on the critical path have been completed prior to execution. The role is a full-time position and may require some flexibility for out of hours working as the needs of the programme dictate.

Key Responsibilities listed below:

• Migration co-ordination & weekend change Execution, documenting any Source environment remediation, readiness changes are complete before Prod Migrations.
• Stakeholder management – Key to speaking and developing relationships with the application/service owners and technical staff (RTB, BTB, designated technical contacts)
• Ownership of the execution of the phase/sprint
• Understanding technical concepts or to facilitate technical discussions
• Executing to the plan and escalating where necessary
• Management reporting
• Change management: Experience of Service First, Template-izing the CRs based on the Migration type and complexity, Preparing change pack, documentation, Change approval chasing, attending CABS

• Ability to manipulate data in Excel to intermediate level.

Preferred Skills
• Experience working on a complex migration programme, Specifically Network devices, Firewall, Lan/Wan setup.
• Knowledge and understanding of how to apply Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) and PRINCE2.
• Knowledge and understanding of how to apply Agile methodologies
