Our Client is hiring for a reputed client to support the efficient operation of the courts and tribunals, delivering a “right first time” service with pride and professionalism.
What you’ll be doing:
• Preparing papers, files, and documents for hearings, meetings, and tribunals
• Producing standard correspondence, minutes, notes, and reports in line with guidelines
• Updating and creating records on an in-house computer system, ensuring accuracy and currency
• Handling post opening and dispatch, plus general photocopying and filing
• Supporting listing/rota activity by checking files, assisting court users, and helping keep schedules on track
• Providing face-to-face, written, and telephone enquiries support, including helping people complete procedures correctly
• Clerking civil and family hearings-ensuring papers/materials are available and up to date
• Checking and verifying documents, records, accounts, claims, and returns against criteria and procedures
• Helping assemble information and contribute to TIB (Team Information Board) meetings
• Completing basic statistical analysis and processing straightforward financial information as required
• Using discretion and initiative to improve work within set systems and processes
What you’ll bring:
• Strong administrative skills and excellent customer service, even when things are fast-moving
• Accuracy and attention to detail when checking, verifying, and updating records
• Confidence communicating politely with the public and professional stakeholders
• A practical approach to problem-solving-using guidelines and escalating complex issues appropriately
• Basic statistical and financial processing capability (where needed)
• Relevant computer skills to input and maintain accurate records
• The ability to work flexibly, including occasional ad hoc support at other local offices
