Job Title: MIG WELDER
Location: Hixon, Stafford ST18 0PH
Pay Rate: up to £19.08 per hour
Overtime: available everyday paid at 1.2 weekdays and 1.5 weekends
Major Recruitment are looking for experienced MIG Welders to join the clients privately-owned business. Our client Based in Hixon Staffordshire is now an industry leading sub-contract sheet metal fabrication supplier to various manufacturing sectors. They supply metal components, in volume, into various leading UK companies from within the automotive, retail, electronics, agricultural and technology sectors, to name a few.
Successful candidate will meet the following.
- Based in the Staffordshire area or within easy commuting distance
- Experience as a MIG Welder
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Flexible, Adaptable, with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Team player
- Dedicated
- Attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- MIG welding ranging from 1mm – 20mm
- Welding various materials, predominantly mild steel
- Using jigs whilst welding
- Maintaining all health and safety standards
Shift Pattern:
- Monday - Friday
- 3pm – 11pm
(Overtime available)
