We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and eager individuals to come and join an abattoir team. If you are keen to develop yourself and learn new skills within a friendly working environment, this role could be right for you.
Previous experience is not essential, and all training is provided to offer you the opportunity for progression.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the processing of cattle in accordance with individual training and licensing as applicable.
Hours are 06.30-07.30 to 15.30-17.30 Monday to Friday.
Pay is £10.42-£11.00 depending on experience.
If you have good knife skills the hourly rate may be increased.
Duties include:
- Dressing, Trimming and Cutting of the Carcass
- Ensuring all parts of the carcass are trimmed to produce optimum production yield.
- Removal of waste according to company policy.
- Preparation of animal carcasses.
