About the Role 

A full-time Consultant Anaesthetist is sought to provide high-quality anaesthetic care across a network of facilities in the Murrumbidgee region. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a committed clinician to contribute to clinical leadership, service development, and the delivery of safe, patient-centred care in both rural and regional settings. 

Hospital Information 

This extensive health network spans over 125,000 square kilometres and includes a mix of base hospitals, district hospitals, multipurpose services, and community health centres. Services include emergency care, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and aged care, with a strong focus on integrated, community-based models of care.

Essential Criteria 

• Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent 

• Fellowship of The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) 

• Current registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia
