CNC Turner – Hinckley, England

Major Recruitment are looking to hire a reliable and motivated CNC Turner to join our client’s skilled team in Hinckley. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy and supportive environment using a variety of modern CNC turning machines.

Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday
Shifts Available: day shift or night shift avaliable 
Overtime: Available at x1.5 (after standard hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC lathes (e.g., Doosan, Mazak, Fanuc-controlled equipment).

• Read and interpret technical/engineering drawings.

• Machine components to tight tolerances and quality standards.

• Carry out program edits and tool offsets where required.

• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, verniers, and other standard measuring equipment.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and perform basic machine maintenance.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in CNC turning or a similar precision machining role preferred.

• Ability to read and work confidently from engineering drawings.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.

• Willingness to learn new skills and machine types (training provided).

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
