Labourer / Telehandler Operator

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a Labourer / Telehandler Operator to join a busy industrial site in Port Talbot.

This role is primarily labouring, with occasional use of a Telehandler to move materials around site. It is ideally suited to a newly qualified or Red Card Telehandler Operator looking to gain valuable site experience. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Duties

• Carry out general labouring duties on an industrial site.
• Operate a Telehandler safely and efficiently when required.
• Support site teams with lifting and moving materials.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification.
• Valid CCNSG Safety Passport.
• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Reliable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

What We Offer

• £13–£14 per hour, depending on experience.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• Up to 50 hours per week.
• Time and a half paid after 8 hours worked each day.
