Salary: USD120000 - USD140000 per annum + Annual Bonus

Oliver James is working with a specialty insurer that is looking to hire a Claims Manager (TPA Oversight) for their Property team. In this standalone senior technical role, you will be responsible for providing oversight on a caseload of complex commercial property claims that are being handled by a panel of TPAs. Along with advising on claims handling, you will also provide litigation and coverage advice to ensure claims are handled efficiently. You will also drive TPA strategy across the claims group. 

Key/Skills Experience Required:

  • 5+ years commercial property claims experience (gained at an insurance carrier or TPA)
  • 3+ years claims leadership experience – directly managing Adjusters at an insurance carrier or TPA
  • Direct experience handling complex, large losses above $250,000 in value (Commercial Property including multiple commercial building types) – both primary & excess cases
  • Excellent knowledge of wide ranging commercial property litigated matters 
  • Exposure to litigation and coverage investigation essential (including writing coverage letters/RORs)
  • Exceptional customer service capability. Excellent relationship management capability
  • The ability to act as a technical lead and provide advice to other adjusters
  • Experience managing TPA relationships and driving TPA strategy – essential
  • Adjuster License in multiple states including Florida

This role is hybrid from 2 Florida and Northeast locations with fully remote considered for some candidates. The role offers a competitive base salary up to $140,000 + 15% annual bonus, along with a clear career path for the future.
