Drake International has partnered with one of Canada's Top Supply Chain Solutions providers who are looking to add Delivery Helpers to their team. Our client is located on the outskirts of St Thomas.
Note that currently you can expect 1-3 shifts per week, moving into 3-5 shifts starting mid April. Shifts times can be 8-14 hours, depending on the route.
What we are we looking for?
- Reliable & hardworking - Each route has a schedule they must stick to so being on time is a crucial part of the job
- Ability to work long hours - Depending on the route you could be working 8-14 hour days. There are overnight routes occasionally available as well.
- Good physical condition - You will assist in offloading of the trucks, products weighing up to 75 lbs
- Possess a Canadian passport or USA visa - There are occasionally cross border over night routes.
Requirements:
- Own Transportation as shift times start between 3am-7am
- Must be in excellent physical condition as the position require heavy repetitive lifting
- Candidates who possess valid Passports will be given priority as cross border trips are possible
- MUST have clean criminal record
- MUST have own vehicle as location is 15 minutes south of London
- MUST be extremely reliable
Wage: $17/hr
Students may be considered for part-time if the schedule aligns with the hours required.
