Tate Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside an established local authority business in the heart of Brighton and Hove. We are currently recruiting for a Project Development Officer to join their City Environmental Management department.
Project Development Officer
- £16.63ph
- ASAP start until end of October 2024
- 37 hours per week
- Monday-Friday
- Fully onsite- Brighton BN1
Purpose of the Job as Project Development Officer:
- To manage specific projects within Cityclean and Parks.
- Responsible for supporting and developing projects within City Environmental Management.
- Act as a project contact for the City Clean project, liaising with project partners and businesses.
- Take responsibility for the delivery of the household behaviour change pilots.
- To undertake research and development with operational staff to improve performance in front line services.
Ideal candidate will possess in depth knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Community engagement work in a neighbourhood setting
- Community consultation and research
- Working with disadvantaged minority groups
- Development of groups or activities within a neighbourhood setting
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and risk assessments
