Salary: GBP30000 - GBP35000 per annum

Purpose of Job

The job holder has responsibility for carrying out driver and operator training functions for all our clients sweepers limited fleet.

  1. Key Features
  • Offering a full and comprehensive range of operator and driver training options to all customers, understanding the level and type of training required by obtaining the correct information and licence status of proposed delegates prior to organising the training
  • Training a network of ad hoc in-house trainers, utilising the expertise of long-standing employees, and ensuring they are trained to correct and required standards
  • Working closely with the Head of Sales and Sales department to develop and grow the training function through effective marketing and social media including instructional and informative video productions on all products
  • Maintaining and updating records as required, ensuring all training is documented fully, certificates are issued and all relevant documentation/certificates are forwarded to the People Services department at Head Office to place on the employee’s file
  • Maintaining a comprehensive file/database for all driver and operator training carried out to support the business in operator damage disputes and creating a forecast model for re-assessment training after two years

 

  1. Authority
  • Selection and appointment of alternative suppliers for training where appropriate and reporting all such changes on a monthly basis in writing to the Operations Director
  • Expenditure authority in accordance with Dawsongroup’s authorisation document, UK companies

  • The job holder is required to accept and fully understand our clients  Health & Safety policy
  • Cooperating with the Company on all aspects necessary to provide a safe working environment including any training needed
  • Taking reasonable care for their own health & safety and for that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions at work
  • Making full use of any protective clothing/equipment provided and comply with the directions from managers regarding manual handling
  • Only operating fleet or asset equipment, as authorised and as trained to operate
  • Following safe systems of work in force and comply with Health & Safety rules and regulations
